    Grazed 5° W-facing slopes, of soft pumice alluvium from avalanche chutes. Open Pinus contorta - P. jeffryi woodland with understory of Artemisia tridentata, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Linanthus nuttallii, Cercocarpus ledifolius. Common on disturbed/trampled grazed areas.
