  • Habitat

    Bishop tuff rhyolite ridge dropping off steeply E into Taylor Canyon. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland with scattered P. monophylla, Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Eriogonum umbellatum, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, S. viscidiflorus. Occasional in scrub above ridge. Soft pumice soil between outcrops.
