    Very steep NW-facing 40° slope of loose pumice alluvium and coarse rhyolite talus. Open woodland of Pinus contorta and occasional P. flexilis, with scant herb layer including Eriogonum lobbii, Raillardella argentea, Swertia puberulenta. Occasional, widely scattered in open talus and sand.
