Habitat
Sandstone rock outcrops with small area of disturbed marsh at base, and nearby river with lush vegetation along margins. Thisplant growing at edge of river.

Description
Small tree to 4 m. Young stems and inflorescence axis reddish. Leaves coriaceous, dark green very glossy above, very pale green beneath. Flowers cream. Fruit dark reddish purple when immature, darker when ripe. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
