Cream color becoming brown upon drying. odor strongly aromatic even in dried specimens. lamellae decurrent, broadly attached. stipe hollow. Pileus glabrous with minute darkened tufts at center (2-6 cm across) spores subglabrous, smooth 5-7 µ x 3.5 - 6 µ. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
