Brazil. Acre. Marechal Thaumaturgo Mun. Basin of Rio Juruá, Rio Bagé (tributary of Rio Tejo), left bank, Colocaçao Boa Vista da Uniao.

Habitat

Forest on gently undulating terrain, alternating between (1) dense forest with strong presence (but not dominance) of Guadua sarcocarpa that died back 22 years ago, and (2) "baixio" (forest in low-lying area with waterlogged soils). Rare.

Description

Tree. Tree 12 m x 15 cm, inflorescences terminal, erect, developing acropetally, flowers entirely yellow, fruits 1-lobed, immature. In "baixo.". Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
