    Mixed restinga, much disturbed with areas subject to flooding with some mangrove species, and some high restinga on higher ground.

  • Description

    Tree to 8 m. Leaves stiff, chartaceous dark green above, a little paler below with very prominent primary venation. Stipular sheath brown-tomentose at base. Fruit 1 cm. in diameter, green, shiny, obscurely furrowed vertically, umbonulate.
