Forested small ravines. With Euterpe, arborescent Melastomataceae, large tank bromeliads and coarse bambusoid grass.

Description
Erect shrub to 1 m. tall; leaves light green and shiny above, pale green and dull beneath; new leaves and inflorescence axis ferrugineous; flowers cream, [mansculine]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
