With remnant woodlands and grassy savanna-like pastures. With Miconia molybdea, Dodonea viscosa, Baccharis spp.

Description
Gnarled treelet, 4 m tall, 8 cm in diameter; only old brown fruits. Compound leaves from saplings, presumably the same species.
