    On open, rocky slopes. Below snowberry-chokeberry community below pine-fir forest. Common. Light brown soil, pH ca. 6.7.

  • Description

    Corollas deep blue-violet to red-violet, base of tube mostly red-violet; staminode white; anthers red-violet, blue-black with age. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
