Description
Taproot becoming ± strongly thickened well below the ground level. Herbage glaucous. Involucral bracts 5. Flowers 4 (seldom 6) per involucre. Perianth pink-lavender, 5-lobed, each lobe notched at the tip. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
