  • Habitat

    Beneath Populus tremuloides, Engelmann spruce, limber pine, and Douglas fir. With Juniperus communis, Astragalus, Poa, Festuca, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi.

  • Description

    Corolla tube blue-lavender, spreading to ca. 5 mm at throat; throat white with dark blue guides; limb medium to light blue; anthers glabrous, divaricate after dehiscence; staminode yellow-bearded about 2 mm from apex (much as a tooth brush); stems single with leaves well-developed. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
