  • Description

    Locally common erect herb 25-30 cm. amongst grass with Aeschynomene (Lewis et al 962). Some specimens with bulky, woody-rootstock, +/- pyrophytic, at least seeming to like burnt over sandy area in grassland. Foliage pale green; calyx blackish-purple; flowers pale-mauve. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
