    Corollas dark red-violet, throat paler and with 2 weak white ridges within abaxially, tube base yellow-green; staminode white; anthers violet, black with age; nectar sweetly fragrant; leaves/infl. ± like var. shoshonensis. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
