Mixed restinga, mainly high restinga on drier ground, with areas of normally wet sedge meadow.

Description
Wiry heath-like shrub to about 1.5 m. Leaves rather bright green. Petals magenta. Anthers bright yellow, filaments white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
