Steep rocky slope at foot of cliff, primary lowland forest. Solitary.

Description
To 1.2 m tall. Stem brown-green, c. 8 mm diam. below, 5 mm diam. distally. Crown of 7 leaves; sheaths dull green with scattered thin scales; petiole and rachis with grey indumentum. Leaf to 35 cm; lefalets [sic.] 9 on each side of the rachis in pairs, cuneate. Inflorescence interfoliar branched to 1 order with 6 rachillae, thin brown indumentum. Fruit cherry-red, c. 18 x 6 mm. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
