United States of America. California. Inyo Co. White Mountains. In canyon, 2.0 miles north 25° east of Mollie Gibson Mines, Deep Springs Valley drainage.

Habitat
Eroding limestone outcrop sloping 50° north just above wash. Pinyon-juniper woodland with Cercocarpus, Symphoricarpos, Petrophytum, Juniperus and Ephedra.

Description
Trees to 6 m. high locally, with drooping branches. Frequent on carbonate above 7500 ft., this population isolated and producing abundant cones. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
