Brazil. Rondônia. Guajará-Mirim Mun. 5 km. NE of Guajara Mirim. Rocky tops and slopes of westernmost hill of Serra Pacaas Novos (with Embratel antennas).

Habitat
Rocky tops and slopes of hill, on pre-Cambrian sandstone. Scattered short to medium trees, mostly grassy, disturbed and burned, appearing natural campo, but artificially maintained from scrubby forest, most of the species seem native to the hill.
