    On a gravelly road bank. In Gambel oak country. Locally common.

  • Description

    Flowering stems 1-2 (3) per plant; inflorescence secund; sepals spreading; corolla ventricose-ampliate, 2-ridged ventrally, the upper lip projecting and slightly arched, the lower lip more or less spreading, the lobes blue, the throat light blue to white within, blue to blue-violet without, the tube violet; staminode lightly colored, included; longer anthers reaching the orifice to slightly exserted. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
