9°22’59"S, 69t>56’39"W. Forest in broad, meandering
stream valley in steeply hilly terrain.
Tree to 28 m x 80 cm, outer bark tray, broadly but
shallowly fissured, rough, thin, inner bark to 5 cm thick, |
brittle, broadly rose- and tan-striate. Fruits oblong-ovoid,!
maturing yellow.
Use: Mesocarp of fruit sweet, edible.
