Habitat
Disturbed moist forest on level terrain.

Description
Canopy tree to 25 m x 40 cm, fruits dark green with three shallow vertical sulca. Endocarp bony. Low buttresses. Bark thin, smooth, shed in papery sheets or thin plates. Sapwood spongy, fibrous.
