Description
Pileus 1.5-6 cm broad, convex to plane, frequently with a sharply depressed disc, dry to moist, hygrophanous in some, appressed radially fibrillose, translucent striate at first then subsulcate at margin, 6E8 fading to 6D5. Flesh thin (<2 mm), white, with mild odor and mild taste. Lamellae adnexed, very crowded, white at first, then pale tan, with fimbriate edges. Stipe 3-8 cm long, 4-6 mm broad, strict, terete to compressed and cleft, tough and fibrous, equal but slightly expanded at apex and base, dark brown with fine, scattered white pruina, with white basal mycelium; interior hollow.
