    Transitional semi-deciduous forest.

  • Description

    Tree ca. 3 m tall. Leaves fleshy, dark green and shiny above, paler green below. Terminal buds and petioles dull, fuscous brown. Only 3 old inflorescences seen. Carpels densely appressed pubescent, only one may develop. Probably = 765 and Amorim 2601, 2631. Silica-gel sample. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
