    Associated flora: Douglas fir, Pinus spp., Quercus gambelii, Lithospermum multiflorum(?), Thalictrum fendleri, Erigeron platyphyllus, Hieracium rusbyi, Erigeron rybius, Allium cernuum neomex., Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Senecio eremophilus macdoug., Carex wootonii, Draba helleriana patens, Solidago parryi.

    Pale yellow florets; plants between 4 and 8 feet tall; single uprights or up to 14 branches from base; stem 1.5 inch dia. at base. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
