  • Description

    Forming colonies on rocks, smaller specs. in exposed positions; spathe 11.3 x 2 cm, spreading, pale green with purple nerves, abax. suffused violet toward base, revolute into a cylinder; spadix (pre-anthesis) gray-pale green, x 5 mm below; fruiting spadix to 27 x 1.7 cm; ovary very obtuse-conic, exserted 4 mm before final extrusion, dark red-purple apically, white below, obovate, 8 x 6 mm; seeds 2, bright red-brown.
