    Located at the crest of a moderate W facing slope; very rapidly drained coarse sand. Under a moderately open Pinus banksiana canopy; understory vegetation dominated by Elymus innovatus, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Arctstaphylos uva-ursi, Linnaea borealis and Rosa acicularis. Growing on shallow humus substrate.
