Cut-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs, & small shrubs. Soil poor, reddish-brown fine sand with a little clay.

0.7m tall. Petals white, filaments & anthers white, style & stigma light green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
