    Talus with Quercus, Symphoricarpos and Prunus at base of canyon wall in pinyon-juniper forest. Common. Gray soil, pH ca. 7.2.

    Corollas red-orange to scarlet, more yellowish within, esp. in throat; anthers tan, all exserted from throat under adaxial lip; style/stigma exserted from under adaxial lip. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
