  • Habitat

    Terrace ("tabuleiro") with some swampy areas, soils sandy. High density of slender-trunked trees but canopy discontinuous, few trees exceeding 15-20 m x 30 cm.

  • Description

    Tree 20 m x 32 cm, outer bark brown, thin, smooth, shed in thin plates, inner bark finely orange-tan striate, thick, fibrous. Calyx dull pale green, petal white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
