Habitat
In moist meadow. A different moister habitat than attenuatus, and apparently a moister meadow than yellow confertus, which grew up to the base of the yellow pines.

Description
Corolla deep blue, more purplish at tube, pale yellow hairs at orifice on floor of throat, staminode bearded golden, drying brownish. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.

According to annotation handwritten in pencil on the sheet: "A very good match for type of P. productus Greene, especially right hand pc. as to sepals and puberulent stem." According to a separate written annotation: "n=8"
