Semi-open north facing slope. With Douglas fir and Juniperus scopulorum. Single individual seen.

Probably planted (see Great Basin Naturalist 31: 88). Height ca. 30 ft; d.b.h. 8.7 inches. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
