Description
Somewhat depauperate plant; stem 6 m tall, 18 cm in diam., leaf scars congested; 12 contemporaneous leaves; sheath 10 dm long; petiole 10 dm long; rachis 56 dm long with 154 pairs of stiff pinnae at regular intervals, turned into a vertical position. Inflorescence (male) with an about 5 dm long basal bract; second bract 14 dm long; peduncle 10 dm long; rachis 6 dm long with about 300 rachillas. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
