Handwritten annotation to the label: "Note made when collected: Barren stamen not bearded; upper lip of corolla blue, lower purple, interior whitish, veined with purple, tube narrow expanding to an inflated cap. Agrees precisely with Parry's specimen named secundiflorus. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
