  • Description

    Gasterocarps epigeous to hypogeous, dry, (5A3-5B4) to cinnamon brown, bruising dark brown, dark brown when epigeous and exposed to light, tomentose to subtomentose with some external rhizoids, 1-2.5 cm broad, globose to flattened to somewhat irregular in outline. Peridium white when cut and exposed. Gleba dark olive brown to dark chocolate brown, with gel-filled chambers, demarcated with white marbling. NH4(-). Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
