    Subarbusto com mais ou menos 0.6 cm de altura, umbrofilo. Lamina da folha verde marcadamente discolor, levemente lucida na face ventral, de consistência coriaceo. Pedunculo da inflorêscencia verde-alvacento, rachis alvo levemente esverdeado com oapiculo verde escuro. Pedicelos e flor alvo-esverdeado. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Could not interperet or locate the place indicated by the insructions: "DOCEMADE"; therefore, georeferenced more generally to the approximate geographic center of the Reserva da Vale do Rio Doce (alternative name: Reserva de Linhares), in Mun. Linhares, Espírito Santo. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, and referencing an image of the boundaries of the reserve found online (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2tuD76V4Vgg/UE8yk6xDTZI/AAAAAAAAIYo/dwwfszGJl5M/s1600/Map.jpg) found the Reserva da Vale do Rio Doce. Using Google Maps - What's Here tool, found coordinates (final) for a point within the reserve closest to the approximate geographic center of the reserve (estimated also referencing the boundaries of the park shown in the cited image). Because the boundaries of the Reserva da Vale do Rio Doce are clearly defined, used Google Maps - Measure Distance tool to find linear extent by measuring from the selected final coordinates near the approximate geographic center of the reserve to the farthest extent of the reserve (-19.253723, -40.000770). Input linear extent (13502.0 m), coordinate precision (0.00001 degrees), datum (WGS84), and measurement error (0.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined area).
