Dense forest.

Description
Caudex subterranean; fronds 2-3 m. long, the stipe ca. 1 m. long, the pinnae ca. 8 pair, the lower ones much the longerst, with pinnules to 25 cm. long. "Tambutiri.". Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
