Along intermittant stream through sandy decomposed granitic slopes. In pinyon-juniper woodland with Rhus trilobata anisophylla, Glycyrrhiza lepidota, Salix exigua, other Bromus spp., Forestiera neomexicana, Phacelia lemmonii, P. affinis, etc. In moist sand.
