    Pinus rigida and deciduous trees. On sandy soil.

  • Description

    Gregarious. Pileus broadly convex with slightly depressed center, uplifted and wavy margin in older sample; pale pinkish tan; surface glabrous, partly farinacious (like covered with a lighter colored dust). Lamellae subdecurrent,close, sometimes forked near stipe; same color as pileus but lighter tone. Stipe fleshy-fibrous, hollow; cream colored. Latex described in literature was not observed (samples too old or too late in season?). Taste mild instead of bitter then peppery as described in literature. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
