On pumicy roadside in lava flow area. With Arctostaphylos, Artemisia, and Purshia. Several plants.

Description
Corollas pale blue with blue lobes, or pink to red-violet with darker lobes, paler to ± white within throat abaxially; lobes spreading, ± equal in size; mature anthers tan, some violet on adaxial side; nectar sweetly fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
