    Spores apiculate, globose or subglobose variable in size, predominately 7.4 mu in diam., takes starch test turning light gray; colorless by transmitted light, white in mass; basidia typically club-shaped, tapering toward the base, 20.4 mu long, 8.5 mu in diam. at apex; pileus 5 cm in diam., white or faintly light-brown with scattered cream-color scales; gills free, white, broad; stipe 8 cm tall, tapering from volva with free marginal ends; annulus persistent, apical, prominent. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
