Vicinity of entrance road and old home site near mouth of Railroad Canyon. Sandy alluvial wash; rocky granitic uplands on N-facing slope; compacted/disturbed areas around outbuildings. Bromus spp. abundant throughout, with native shrubs & trees. Sprawling perennial, fls dull light bluish, stem w harsh stinging hairs. Common, shade beneath oaks & among boulders.
