Marsh with Typha cf. x glauca, Cornus stolomfera. With
Salix shrubs near road and perhaps periodically cut off and
thus the normal habit uncertain.
Shrub 3 m. tall, 2.5 cm. in diameter, 7 years old, difficult to
find healthy stems larger than this; twigs dark brown. Very
similar in habit to pistillate no. 65477 Salix discolor.
Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw.
Staminate, in anthesis.
