LARIMER COUNTY: Rocky Mountain National Park. East end of Trail Ridge on SW-facing slopes of tundra above Forest Canyon, on massive granite blocks, 3350 rasm; tightly affixed and growing on large smooth rock faces, rarely on weathered and crumbling surfaces but mostly on extremely hard rock. Thalli are extremely variable, the best developed rosulae on the most inaccessible collecting surfaces, associated with Lecanora novomexicana, Sporastatia testudínea, Acarospora chlorophana, Lecidea atrobrunnea, Um-bilicaria virginis and U. krascheninnikovii. 22 July 1976 W.A.
