43°25'18"N, 91 o07'47"W. alt. 220 m.
Floodplain of Coulee Creek, scattered trees and shrubs.
Acer negundo, Salix x fragilis, S. eriocephcila, Populus
delloides. Ribes americanum, Viburnum lentago.
Heracleum lanatum Thalictrum dcisyc'arpum.
Very diffuse patch, probably a clone, to 4.5 m. tall, 8 cm. in
diameter, ca. 30 years old, but the larger stems senescing.
Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw,
MEXUw, NEEw, RSAw, Penn State. Past flowering; a
few young green fruits beginning to swell.
