Associated species: Larrea divaricata, Ephedra californica,
Yucca schidigera, Salazaria mexicana, Hymenoclea salsola,
Acacia greggii, Chilopsis linearis, Brickellia desertorum,
Ferocactus acanthodes, Salvia nohavensis, Ephedra viridis
Rhus trilobata, Baccharis sergiloides, Krameria grayi,
Opuntia basilaris, Cylindropuntia acanthocarpa,
Cylindropuntia echinocarpa, etc.
Also on the notebook Thorne states "1/4 mile east of Granite
Cove, at 3900 feet elevation". Unless it is written on the
newspaper, it's hard to know for sure where the collection
was made. This information might be with his collection
numbers which we could not locate.
