Mostly on small lobe of Blue Ridge, Santa Clara
County, California, Henry Coe State Park, se of
Mt. Hamilton and e of Morgan Hill, 1 1/2 mi nw
of Mt. Sizer, elevation ca 3000 ft. Small grove
of about 25 large shrubs on northeast-facing
slope. Growing with A. glauca, A. X-campbellae.
Arbutus menziesii, Pinus ponderosa & Quercus
kelloggii.
