ECUADOR. GALAPAGOS ISLANDS. ISLA SANTA CRUZ (Indefatigable I.): very abundant, pendent from trees in the transition zone or Scalesia forest — cactus forest tension zone, ca. 500 ft. alt., between Academy Bay and Bella Vista, south side of the island. This is the lichen repeatedly and incorrectly referred to in papers as Alectoria sarmentosa.
