In 2° forest near waterfall, white sand soil.

Description
Palm 15m tall. Stilt roots. Trunk diameter at 1 meter is 18 cm. 9 leaves, 2.5 m long each including rachis and petiole; sheet clasping, light green, 1 m long, leaves pinnate, pinnae in 39 groups along the rachis. Infl. in bud enclosed by 4 bracts 25, 45, 55, and 55 cm long respectively. 1° axis of panicle 40 cm long, 4 cm wide at base, 9 rachillae ca 33 cm long each, fruit still green, ovoid, 3 cm long by 2 cm wide.
