Flora Mexicana Acleisanthes angustifolia (Torr.) R.Levin (ex Selinocarpus angustifolius Torr.) Durango, Mexico. ± 16 air miles SW of Torreon, Coah., on upper road to Microondas Sapioris, ± 5 miles SW of Leon Guzman, the road to the Microondas extending from the old Hwy. 40, the specific site in a saddle about 1 road mile below the Microondas towers; the hills limestone, with Mimosa, Acacia berlanderi, A. crassifolia (and hybrids), Ocotillo, Agave lech., A. striata, Bouteloua, Senna, Opuntia, Mirabilis, Viguiera stenoloba, Parthenium, Jatropha dioica, Allionia etc. Frequent, inconspicuous shrub on the Is. slopes, near 25°26’N, 103°43’W ± 1400 m.
