PLANTS OF WISCONSIN | Ranunculaceae Yellow water buttercup, yellow water crowfoot Ranunculus flabellaris Raf. Kewaunee County. Town of West Kewaunee. Boggy lakes just ! west of the western terminus of Swamp Lane. Little Scarboro Unit of the Kewaunee Fish and Wildlife Area. SW M of NW V* of Sec. 8, | T23N R23E. N44.480357 W *1.622261. Elev. 723 ft. Mostly submerged yellow-flowered aquatic plant growing in shallow tan in stained boggy pond with a mucky bottom. A few flowers protruding above the surface of the water. Leaves above the surface 3 parted and deeply lobed. Leaves below the surface finely dissected. Yellow petals 3.5-5.0 mm long; very delicate; most falling off as plant was collected.
